You will need to upload a map showing the proposed holding. Please prepare this in advance and have it available to upload before starting this form.

Please note:

Within one month of the establishment of a holding, or a change to the details of an existing holding, the owner or person in charge of any animal on a holding must notify the Department in writing, in such form as the Department may approve.

The Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture requires the information on this form to comply with its legal obligations under the Cattle Identification Order 2019.

We will keep these details indefinitely for active holdings and for two years for inactive holdings from the date we are informed of inactivity and in accordance with Data Protection (Application of GDPR) Order 2018. The personal information will then be deleted from our systems. Full details of how and why DEFA processes your personal information are contained in our privacy policy.
